Human beings are naturally inclined to be blissful and happy, as the desire lies in the core nature. It can only happen when one has a higher frequency. But the conditions and situations make one in a negative frequency like anger, fearstressanxiety etc. All these feelings make us forget our true blissful nature. The more happy and aligned one is to the universe, he/she can achieve and live life the way one wants.


OM ( Aum) 
Aum is mentioned in the first paragraph of the Mandukya Upanishad, which was written sometime around 800 – 500 BCE. This text explains both the concepts behind the sound and the symbol.

The syllable Aum, which is the imperishable Brahman, is the universe. Whatsoever has existed, whatsoever exists, and whatsoever shall exist hereafter, is Aum. And whatsoever transcends past, present, and future, that also is Aum.” ~ The Upanishads: Breath of the Eternal by Swami Prabhavananda (translator) and Frederick Manchester (Translator)."
The text goes on to say

Om is pure unitary consciousness, wherein awareness of the world and of multiplicity is completely obliterated. It is ineffable peace. It is the supreme good. It is One without a second. It is the Self. Know it alone! This Self, beyond all words, is the syllable Aum.” ~ The Upanishads: Breath of the Eternal by Swami Prabhavananda (translator) and Frederick Manchester (Translator).

In translation, chanting Aum reminds us that we are all Divine, as is everything around us – that everything which exists is connected through this divinity.


The Initial spark of the creation came from the sound or vibration. “The sound was with GOD and the sound was GOD, that sound is OM. Om is Highest positive vibration. Om is a universal syllable. It's a cosmic energy. According to Vedas, and the Big Bang theory - the whole universe was created by the sound OM (aum). The Gospel, according to John 1:1 says,” In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the Word was God…….  And the word was made flesh.” 

But there’s more – Aum also represents the four states of human consciousness, as seen by the yogis.

Vaishvanara is the first state of consciousness. It is our normal waking state, which is perceived through our five senses and naturally focused outward to material objects and the material world.
The second state of consciousness, Taijasa, is dreaming sleep or the mental nature, which is focused inward to only the thoughts in the mind. This isn’t just when we’re asleep and dreaming, but can also refer to day dreaming states of being.
The third state of consciousness, Prajna, is dreamless sleep or deep meditation.
The fourth state of consciousness is Turiya, and is the hardest to describe – so difficult that even the Mandukya calls it ‘indescribable’. But that hasn’t stopped other people from attempting to describe the indescribable.
Turiya is a state of transcendence – actually THE state of transcendence or liberation, where the Self is united with Source and there is no longer any separation between Self and Source. This is liberation or self-realisation – the whole point of Yoga.

These states of consciousness become more apparent when you break Aum down into its component sounds – A – U – M.
First you sound Ahhhh…. like you’re opening your mouth wide for the doctor, then Uuu… like you without the yuh and finally MMMMMM…. like you’ve just eaten the yummiest icecream ever.
Those three sounds roll into each other Ahhhh…Oh….Mmmmmm and create the sound of Aum.
Those are the three states of consciousness – Vaishvanara, outward focus on the material, Taijasa, dreaming sleep or inward mind focus, and Prajna, dreamless sleep or deep meditation. The fourth state, Turiya is found in the silence after the Aum – where there is no sound, but there is an indescribable ‘something’.

Each of the components also relates to a different chakra or energy centre in the body. A is the root chakra, U is the Heart Chakra and M is the Third Eye. The silence at the end is the Crown Chakra, which connects us to Universal Consciousness.

So as one sounds each part of the Aum, your awareness and attention moves through the four states of consciousness and up through the body.
First, full awareness is brought to the root chakra and you feel the sound of Ahhhh reverberating through the lower pelvis and groin. This is the world of the material. Then the sound travels up the spine and you move in the heart chakra where Uuu reverberates in the upper chest area. Now you’re entering the dream states or inward focus of the mind.
From here you move up the back of the neck and through the top palate of the mouth as you Mmmmm and the energy rises up to the Third Eye. This is the state of dreamless sleep or deep meditation.
Finally, as you sit in the silence afterward, you’re in the Crown Chakra and the illusions that separate you from the Universe dissolve.

That’s a real Aum. Not just a sound made with the mouth, but an energetic experience in the body that opens and balances the chakras and moves you through the four states of consciousness.

Chanting or Meditating ‘OM’ raise the vibrations of an individual, not just in body but in overall consciousness of one's soul and mind. According to the Quantum Physics, Everything is Energy. All are pulsating at a vibration, at their own frequency. Every individual has a particular energy/frequency of its own.
Chanting makes you align to the Whole, in tune with OM. There is no other sound in any language as AUM:

The sound



A comes from the back of our throat.



U comes from the palate, middle of the vocal region.



M comes from the vocal organ or Lips and is nasal and labial.

Benefits of chanting or meditating AUM

Chanting AUM, raises the positive vibration making one joyful and blissful.



Purifies the environment around one. Not just the one chanting but people around the person too.


Raises the vibration energy level, balances the moods and emotions.


Purifies the AURA of the individual.


Gives better immunity and self-healing power.


Helps in making one more spiritually inclined and connected to the highest power that is GOD.


Makes one happier, calmer, healthier and younger.


It helps in improving concentration and memory and restore the balance of mind and energy of the individual.


Meditation of AUM on a regular basis, calms and relaxes the mind and the body, decreases the blood pressure and helps in maintaining a healthy rhythmic heart beat.


In releasing stress and any negative energy in Body, Mind and Aura.


Improves imagination and creativity


It helps in cleansing skin from internal level by removing toxins, giving a natural shine or glow.


It makes one positively inclined and an optimistic person.


Hence helping you stay healthy mentally and psychologically and spiritually. Resulting in good overall Health.

Here's a little bit from my (very short) personal experience of practicing for a handful of years.


Greater sense of calm 

on a daily basis. 


Everyday life becoming easier, friction less 

This extends from the most mundane tasks like washing clothes or cleaning your house or making food to the most previously-challenging tasks, such as tackling complicated or 'difficult' problems at work.


Freedom 

from what I call "secondary emotions" -- getting mad at yourself for feeling sad, for example.  You feel emotions fully, then they pass, and there's nothing after them.


Greater understanding and feelings of compassion 

for other people, and the benefit of this is that you feel angry at them much less often.


Rare moments of deep clarity 

where your inner monologue goes completely silent. This is like not realizing that all your life you've had a high-pitched whine ringing in your ears. When it goes away, the silence feels so good that it's almost cathartic.





Professional life becomes completely different

The things that used to stress you, such as deadlines, budgets, resources, agendas, politics -- become totally easy and fall into place. Instead of these worries, I find I spend more and more of the work day just trying to magnify love into each moment, no matter what else is going on. I've found this a much greater (and more rewarding) challenge than hitting those margin targets.

Insight 

You understand problems quicker and more easily than before, and solutions to previously tough problems suggest themselves to your mind rapidly. Although I haven't experienced it to these levels, there are stories of great lamas being able to diagnose problems with an internal combustion engine after a brief introduction to what some of the major parts are, but without any formal training or experience.


Social and emotional processing at greater speeds. 

Similar to insight. You will be in conversations with people and their motivations will become more transparent to you. You will see when they are projecting, or being immature or egotistic in their words or deeds, and you can maneuver around it without getting caught up in it.


Life or The Universe starts giving you more to deal with, 

which might have previously overwhelmed you. I've noticed that as my practice deepens and grows I take on "bigger" life events and greater rates of change with an equanimity I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have been able to manage before. I think this makes me a better instrument of healing and helping in the world.

I'm sure there are many others I have yet to experience.

The desire for confidence is the same as insecurity.insecurity most often comes from focusing on ourselves and not on external environment.why insecurity flows from focusing on ourselves, you will have solved the puzzle completely.




Confidence cannot be boosted by technique.


So instead, here are 6 insights about confidence that most people don't know:
  • Confidence is simply the absence of insecure thinking.
  • As such, confidence doesn’t actually exist (i.e. it’s the absence of something, not anything itself).
  • The desire for confidence      is the same as insecurity.
  • There’s nothing we can do to boost confidence, we can only see things in a different light.
  • When we focus inward (on ourselves and our abilities), we inevitably become insecure.
  • When we focus outward (on the task at hand, the person we are with instead of on ourselves), we are naturally confident people tend to mix actual feelings with observed behaviour s.Often we observe people acting with confidence which in truth is driven by very strong internal insecurity. Take for example aggression. When you acknowledge that an aggressive person is in fact insecured you will rather feel pity for him and not fear. This outside focus (on others not on yourself) will enable you to act which will be perceived as a confidence.insecurity most often comes from focusing on ourselves and not on external environment.When you figure out why insecurity flows from focusing on ourselves, you will have solved the puzzle completely.

Are you about to enter a stressful situation?


Harvard Business School professor Amy Cuddy, has identified a way to increase confidence and alter your hormone profile in such situations. This can be done in just 2 minutes.
The simple exercises help configure your brain to deal with any challenge you might face by re-configuring cortisol (stress hormone), and testosterone levels (+20%) when you're nervous or insecure.
In Private
Exercise 1: 



Find a private and quiet place and really stretch yourself out. Make yourself as big as you can. Stand with your legs spread and hands rising high above your head (if possible for 2 minutes). The result: testosterone levels increase by 20% (scientifically proven), and cortisol levels drop.

Exercise 2: 


If you are sitting... lean back with your hands at the back of your head and place your legs on a desk or other high object.
The most effective Power Poses are BIG ones, so make sure you stretch your body as much as possible when completing the exercises.

In Public

Tone down your postures when in public. You don't want to dominate everyone. Professor Cuddy recommends;
·Lifting your chin
·Standing straight and tall
·Resting your hands on the back of a chair
·Using open hand gestures

The Power Posing Habit
Start thinking more about your body and displaying confidence as often as possible. Open up... take up more space. As a result, your hormone levels will re-configure and you will feel more confident.
