Hey Everyone!,

Tiruvarppu Krishna Temple

aujracompletesolutions.blogspot.com

*This is the most unusual Temple in the world*

*It is open 23.58 x 7 a day*

TEMPLE.
NO CLOSING TIME.

HERE, GOD KRISHNA IS  ALWAYS HUNGRY!!.

This Temple is situated in *Thiruvarppu* in kottayam district, Kerala at least 1500 years old temple.

Lord Krishna  here is always hungry.
So all the 23.58 hours, 365 days the temple is open.

The temple is closed for only 2 minutes.
From 11.58 pm to 12.00 am.

Another peculiarity of this temple is that, the priest is given an AXE as well as the key to open the door in the early hours( only 2 minute closed).

People believe that  Krishna cannot tolerate hunger and so if there is any delay in opening the door with the key, the priest is permitted to break open the door with an axe.

People believe that Lord Krishna's idol in the Temple is of the very exhausted Krishna after he killed Kamsa.

So, after the Abhishekam is over, the lord's head is first dried, the naivedyam offered to him and then only his body is dried.

There are 10 times Naivedhya pooja.
Another peculiarity of this Temple is that even during Eclipse times, the Temple is not closed.

People believe that this God Krishna would become hungry.

It seems once, the temple was closed during eclipse. When they reopened the door they found that the waist belt of the lord has slipped down.

Sri Adi Shankaracharya who came at that time told that it was because of God Krishna became very hungry.

From then on, they stopped closing the during Eclipse times also.

God Krishna Sleeping time is daily 11.58 pm to 12.00 am. Only 2 minutes.

No devotees is allowed to leave without consuming Prasadam.

Everyday 11.57 pm ( before closing the temple) the priest calls out loudly  *IS THERE  ANYBODY HERE WHO IS HUNGRY*? "

This is to ensure the all devotees partake in Prasadam.

Another important thing is once you taste the Prasadam, you will not be hungry and life time you will not have any problem getting food.

Lord Krishna is taking care of all devotees who pray here and take prasadam.

The Temple's address is,

Tiruvarppu Krishna Temple, Tiruvarppu-686020

There are few things more exhausting or more irritating

than the four-month-long Indian summer. With soaring temperatures and the sun raging outside, mangoes and lychees don't seem like much of a silver lining.
So, here are 8 health hacks that will make your summer a little better:

1. Replace soft drinks with water-

When you are out on the streets or sweating at home, a sweet fizzy drink does seem tempting but try resisting and have a glass of sparkling water instead. The preservatives and chemicals in the soft drinks do nothing to help your metabolism, which is slowed down by dehydration. Add a bit of lemon juice if only water does not appeal to you.

2. Try yogurt instead of ice cream-
The primary difference between the two is that one contains cream and the other does not. Yogurt is lighter and has lesser fat content. Excess fat consumption during summer actually makes you sweat more.
3. Use honey instead of butter
Butter, like cream, has a heavy fat content and your metabolism (which is slower in summer to retain water in the body) takes longer to break fat down. So, ditch butter this summer and spread some honey on your crunchy breakfast toast.
4. Stock up on cucumber
Cucumber is an underrated blessing. You can munch on them anytime you like without worrying about calorie intake or stomach aches. Rubbing some cucumber on your skin can soothe sunburns and itches.
5. Aloe Vera can work wonders

You must have heard about the boon that aloe vera is when it comes to skincare. It is the best solution to nasty sunburns, especially aloe vera gel frozen in small Ziploc bags, can heal burns and prevent skin peeling and chaffing.

6. Lower the pH value of your skin
Application of citrus fruit juices like apples and lemons or vinegar can lower the pH value of our skin and prevent the multiplication of bacteria. This keeps both sweat and body odor away much more effectively than deodorants.
7. Make small sacrifices in terms of diet

Some of your favorite things like coffee, alcohol, spicy food, sugar and cigarettes are best consumed minimally in summer because they all aggravate the functioning of the apocrine glands and cause sweat and body odor. Other alternatives to soft fizzy drinks during this summer are Coconut water, Sugarcane juice and buttermilk. Not only do these drinks quench your thirst and keep you hydrated but they are extremely rich in minerals and vitamins which further help you maintain your electrolyte balance in the hot summers

8. Shower before you workout

One of the good things about summer might be that you have an excuse to skip work out. But, if you start with a cold shower or a swim, or keep a cold-wet towel around your neck, the workout can be surprisingly refreshing. You can do the same after your workout- it lowers the body temperature and cooling the muscles can heal soreness very quickly.

What are Freckles,How are they Caused and How To Avoid Them ?

    Hey Everyone!,

    Freckles: Causes and Management

      Photo:Sameer/auracompletsolutions.blogspot.com/ AdobeStock

      Photo:Sameer/auracompletsolutions.blogspot.com/ AdobeStock

Skin complexion varies and is caused by the skin pigmentation known as ‘melanin’, produced by cells called melanocytes, which gives skin the colour. The more amount of melanin, the darker the complexion. Melanin has a protective effect against sun exposure, as it reduces damage caused by the sun on the skin. It is proven that people with a darker complexion (with more melanin) are less prone to damage from sun exposure.
    What are they?

Freckles are cells that contain more amount of melanin compared to the surrounding areas. It is a common sight where some people have small, tiny black/brown spots on their faces. These spots may also be present on the hands, elbows, neck, back, etc., but are most obvious in the face. These are known as freckles.
    Causes

Freckles are very common, and they are triggered by exposure to sunlight. The melanocytes absorb the sun and produce more melanin, thereby causing freckles. They are a natural reaction of the skin to the sun.
    • It runs in families, and children are likely to have freckles if the parents had them.
    • It also depends on complexion – fair people are more prone to have freckles than dark people.
    • Tanning, whether done by the sun or in a salon, also increases the chances of having freckles.
    • In some people, the freckles appear in the summer and disappear in the winter.
    • While some precancerous lesions may start off as tiny brown spots and be mistaken for freckles, freckles per se are not cancerous.
    Management

While there are stories that freckles are angel kisses, they are not true. Freckles do not bring any good luck charm and can be prevented and avoided to improve overall skin and esthetic appeal.
Prevention is the first option, and if you are genetically disposed to have freckles, it is best to take measures that can reduce freckles. Avoiding or reducing sun exposure and using good sun protection can help in reducing the number of freckles and the darkness of the freckles.
Freckles can be treated by one of the following:

    Topical Creams

Though widely used, these contain bleaching agents which act on the entire skin and not just the freckles. Retin-A is one of the widely used products.

    Laser

Considered the best method for freckle removal, a beam of the laser is used to get rid of the unwanted melanocytes which produce melanin. This not only reduces freckles, it also improves skin tone and colour.

    Cryotherapy

Liquid nitrogen is used to freeze the melanin-producing cells, thereby removing freckles.
If you have freckles, try these measures for getting rid of them. Once that is done, preventing freckle formation with limiting sun exposure and sun protection is extremely essential.

How to Haggle Effectively and Save Money

    Hey Everyone!,

    How to Haggle Effectively

    And Save Money

Whether in the local farmers market or the big electronics retailer. Use these strategies to pick up a bargain.

    Be Polite

The art of negotiation is a delicate one, and your language needs to reflect that. So be friendly and ask, "Is there any discount, please,?" Make an offer that's slightly lower than your goal price so you have room to cut a deal.

    Look for Imperfections.

Don't pass over an item that may be flawed. While looking at a top- brand non-stick pan at a big department store, one customer noticed a tiny, harmless scratch on it. He asked a shop assistant to talk to his manager about a discount - and got Rs 150/- off. This even easier with clothes that may have a button off or a stain.

    Negotiate a deal

"While I was buying a washing machine and a TV," says another customer, " they offered me extended warranties at a price. I said 'I'm buying two big things from you, so you could give me that for, free and I got it for the TV" Don't feel shy to ask for deals just because it's a big shop. You have to ask, and you may get gifts as well.

    Shop late

Shopping at a veg / fruit market at the day's end has advantages- vendors may slash prices to sell what remains.

    Carry Less Cash

"While shopping on Mumbai' street for books or veggies, I've often got friendly bargains when I tell vendors that all I have left is Rs 25 or Rs 80,"says one senior citizen."They then just want those 20 or 80 bucks from you."

    Opt for online

Haggling is expected on items, both new and used, on sites like OLX and Quikr. Sellers often just want to get rid of extra gifts after weddings, or items they don't need. You're helping them de-clutter so haggle kindly.

    Hope you enjoy reading this;)

    Belief -The Elephant Rope

    Hey Everyone

    Belief -The Elephant Rope

      Photo:Sameer/auracompletsolutions.blogspot.com/ AdobeStock

      Photo:Sameer/auracompletsolutions.blogspot.com/ AdobeStock

Today I am going to share one story, hope you will like it:)

A gentleman was walking through an elephant camp, and he spotted that the elephants weren’t being kept in cages or held by the use of chains. All that was holding them back from escaping the camp, was a small piece of rope tied to one of their legs.As the man gazed upon the elephants, he was completely confused as to why the elephants didn’t just use their strength to break the rope and escape the camp. They could easily have done so, but instead, they didn’t try to at all.
Curious and wanting to know the answer, he asked a trainer nearby why the elephants were just standing there and never tried to escape.

    The trainer replied-

“when they are very young and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and, at that age, it’s enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free.”

    Moral of the story-

No matter how much the world tries to hold you back, always continue with the belief that what you want to achieve is possible. Believing you can become successful is the most important step in actually achieving it
