In June last year, 12 year old T.J. Guerrero's lemonade stand turned Doug Wilkey into a sourpuss again. The 61 year old resident of Duneddin, USA complained to city authorities, at least his third time in two years, saying T.J.'s little business which was set up next to Wilkey's home was illegal and brought about traffic and noise, which reduced his property's value. Police and town officials saw no reason to interfere, and neither did a local radio host who took up the cause. Following an on- air shout out , customers beelined to T.J.'s stand, and he racked up $1000 in one day ( $300 of which he donated to charity.

PARTY POOPER

This April When a Pune man saw his neighbour, a poor widow, come to his son's birthday  party to pack some food to take away for her own child, he could'nt stomach the freeloading. An argument with the woman turned into a fistfight, with the man's guests joining him. They soon reached the local police station, where the woman also claimed she was attacked with a sharp weapon. The cops booked the man and his accomplices. It turns out that the man was no ordinary miscreant- he runs a human rights organisation.

NIGHT TERROR

After an evening on the town, 22 year old Tyler Sullivan got a little too czy with the wrong person. On 25th October 2014, Sullivan's, neighbour in Clinton USA, woke up exciting to find his wife but instead discovered the young man snoring under the covers. Turns out Sullivans mother lived in the next apartment over and the drunken lad had walked through the wrong door. Now charged with criminal tresspass and disorderly conduct, Sullivan will most certainly make sure he's home before making himself at home.

A WOMAN won $25,000 after entering

a sweepstakes at an Illinios, USA

gambling parlour. Good for her,

except she happens to be a 

prominent anti-gambling crusader, 

having gone after casinos, a VFW 

[Veterans of Foreign War] raffle 

and even the parent company of the 

gambling parlour where she won.

Still, she insists she's not a 

hypocrite: Her winnings are a 

result of her crusade. "It's God 

showing his grace on me."

A NORWEGIAN MAN hired a friend to 

knock off a potential lover who 

didn't seem to share the man's 

ardour. But then the would be 

hitman got cold feet, so his 

patron sued him for entering into 

a contract under false pretences. 

The courts saw different legal 

issues.They found the first man 

guilty of attempted conspiracy

to commit murder and sentenced 

him to two years in prison.The 

"hitman" got a hit of his own 

a $1,200 fine.

AN INDIANA HOTEL asked a guest 

to write an online review, so 

she did about the whiff of 

sewage in the room,the non 

- working air conditioner and 

the low water pressure.Oh,and

the hair on the bed." I wasn't 

crazy about that either," she 

told rtv6.com. The hotel,it 

turns out, says it can charge

customers $350 for negative 

reviews. The Indiana attorney 

general wasn't crazy about that.

He says the policy is "unfair,

abusive and deceptive" and is 

suing the hotel.
